Chile: URGENT, the “Toma 17 de Mayo” RESISTS!!!!

Hereby we publish an unofficial translation of a report and a video from El Periódico El Pueblo.

This morning a big contingent surrounded the “Toma 17 de Mayo” in order to execute the eviction of the neighbors who have resisted for 5 years.

We cannot allow more violence and criminalization towards the resident families for living in camps, self-governing a decent life which this State historically has denied to give more value to private property above the life.

The State of Chile shows once more that it serves to the big owners and not the people.

Urgent spreading and solidarity with the people who struggle and resist.
