Chile: The Palestinian Resistance Must Serve Us as an Example
Hereby we publish an unofficial translation of the editorial of the last edition of El Pueblo.
Based on its own forces, the Palestinian combatants and masses in Gaza have achieved to rise a Front in order to resist and combat the Zionist-Israeli occupational force and strike a military and political blow on the 7th of October 2023, in an heroic action that impacted deeply the world situation.
The North American bombardment on Iran on the 21st of June, preceded by the Zionist-Israeli aggression, allows us to overview the level of militarization that contemporary society is reaching. Yankee imperialists tries to resolve the contradictions with other imperialists based on preserving their condition of hegemonic superpower, meanwhile they struggle or collude with them, depending on the situation. This is how the imperialists act towards Iran, in collusion and struggle. To control the Ormuz seaway as well as to control the output of oil and gas to the world or to assure their hegemony over Europe and the rest of powers, therefore violating the international rights, which they brought up.
The imperialist world order is a blow against the oppressed people and nations
The attack against Iran gives us the dimension of the Yankee imperialism’s incapacity of using his Zionist bloodhound in order to control the Middle East, being necessary their direct involvement. However, they necessary have to occupy Iran if they want to dominate it, in order to dominate the extent zone of the Indian pacific without a counter-weight. An eventual occupation of Iran as base to overcome the current regime is a key question for the USA for the re-establishment of a solid base to preserve the dominion and control of the whole region, like it was before 1979. With this action against Iran, the USA smashes the negotiation table, and impose the terms to Russia and China, which have currently stated solely blend declarations, but nothing on the battlefield. The same to the European powers which bow before the superpower.
But as it occurs in the Middle East, the Yankee-Zionist aggression does nothing more than awaking even more the fury of the oppressed people and push them to arise, showing that they don’t want to be anymore the economic arena where the powers and superpowers are disputing the world hegemony.
An example of this struggle is the heroic Palestinian resistance that in the midst of great sacrifices and difficulties, has achieved to construct a great alliance against their main enemies. The Palestinian resistance has transformed itself into a big stone inside of the imperialist shoe and is an example of struggle against the enemies of the peoples of the world.
The Palestinian Resistance generated a new situation
Sustained on its own forces, Palestinian combatants and masses in Gaza, have achieved to rise a front in order to resist and combat the occupant Zionist-Israeli forces and strike militarily politically with the 7th of October 2023, in an heroic action that gave impact on the world situation.
With the Al-Aqsa Flood was once more demonstrated that the technical sophistication will never replace the role of the mankind in war, will never replace a just and correct military line and the respective strategies and tactics. This alliance of different Palestinian forces in order to combat for the national liberation had an huge impact on the world situation. The action of the 7th of October did not only showed that for more military equipment they have, the people’s enemies are vulnerable and can suffer blows, but it also achieved to destroy the US-plans to achieve an “historic peace accord” between Israel and the Arabian Emirates in order to recognize the Zionist State as the gendarme of the Arabic peoples in the Mediterranean coast. On the other hand the genocidal action of the Israeli occupational forces, the open support of the Yankees and the inaction of the other imperialist powers has risen the increasing repudiation of the world towards Israel, impulsing al sorts of expressions of solidarity of the world’s peoples towards the Palestinian people.
With the action of the Al-Aqsa Flood, it was achieved to spatter into thousand of pieces the imposed capitulation of the Oslo Accords, signed by the opportunist Organization for the Liberation of Palestine (OLP) and Israel, under the North American imperialist plan of the government headed by Bill Clinton in the midst of the 90s. It also blew the recent attempts of the capitulationists of the National Palestinian Authority (NPA), who begged the Arabian Emirates to get concessions of Israel for the Palestinian cause. The narrow link between the Palestinian combatants and the masses, is also remarkable, without which the guerrilla warfare would be impossible. This was clearly demonstrated by the fact that for the Israeli genocidal army it was impossible to recapture the hostages, captured on the 7th of October, even under the continuous bombardment and the occupation of the territory. This experience has to serve as an example in the perspective of the revolutionary struggle in our country.
The Unity in the Anti-Imperialist Struggle: an Imperative for the Revolutionaries
The revolutionary forces in our country also need top find the way to act unified under the one sole program, to fight the same enemy: the main enemy of the peoples in the world, the Yankee imperialism. This is one of the lessons that we can extract from the Palestinian experience. The revolutionary struggle can not advance while we don not learn from the Palestinian experience the importance to recognize the common cause in the face of a common enemy.
For this unity, it is of highest importance to outline the sides between the opportunist way, with the electoral bureaucratic way, identifying the big enemies of the proletariat and the Chilean people, this means the big bourgeoisie, this intermediary class of imperialism mainly the Yankee.
The constitutional illusions, the parliamentarian cretinism and the electoral circus will never be the path of the people, on the contrary, they are part of the imperialist agenda with an ever more decaying prestige of demo-liberalism. A necessary struggle against the elections is part of the anti-imperialist struggle, with a tendency of the people in not voting, which are going hand in hand.
The backwardness in the countryside of Chile is the semi-feudality and the big landlords, what also impacts the cities. They are one of the principal things that sustain the imperialist domination in our country. We can and have to unite us against imperialism, unleashing an intense campaign to reach the understanding of this deep reactionary nature of this enemy of the people, without ignoring the other imperialism that are in ambush on our country. But to insist that we never, not even a millimeter, get closer to imperialism with constitutional and electoral lessons. Because it was the USA who imposed us these instruments of political domination through the fascist government of Pinochet to prevent the risks of a revolution in the ends of the 80s. The governments change and the dictatorship of the big bourgeoisie and the big landlords continues, they continue in the service of the imperialism robbery and domination.
The government of Boric maintains today the capitulationist and countryselling line of the former governments. Living by kneeling and bluster gesticulations, unable to stand up, but always are arrogantly priming repress the masses who stand up to fight for work, loan, housing, land, healthcare, and education.
The government of Boric forms part of the pro-Yankee front of lackeys who live kneeling in front of imperialism. Shameful government!
The Yankee imperialism cant give our countries anything good, only more backwardness, monopoly, parasitism, that is the old, and has to be swiped away.
The new will be born in revolutionary struggle of the people against their main enemies, the new will be born in a rising wave of rejection against North American imperialism and the decaying government of Trump and his limited ambitions, because limited is the necessity of the capitals and also the robbery of the world for the Yankee imperialist bourgeoisie.
Our people have to unite themselves in one sole action of decisive struggle, to expel the main enemy of the peoples of the world and tear down its internal enemies.
If the Palestinian combatants and masses have achieved to do it under hard conditions, which have been imposed upon them by the Zionist-Israeli occupation, sustained by the Yankee imperialism, there is no excuse for fighters in the cities and countryside, Mapuche and not Mapuche, can not do it in Chile.
