Call for participation in the Martyr’s Week of the Revolution in India
28th of July – 3rd August
To the Mexican Peoples
To the working and toiling class
To the democratic and revolutionary organizations
We, Current of the People Red Sun, organization that is part of the Anti-Imperialist League (AIL), call out on the democratic and revolutionary organizations; to the peoples and communities in the Mexican resistance, to join the actions in solidarity with the Communist Party of India (Maoist) and the People’s War in India, which we will realize in the mark of the Martyrs’ Week of the Revolution in India, from the 28th of July to the 3rd of August.
We denounce the old hindutva-brahmanic State that since 2024 is developing a genocidal military counter-insurgency campaign, called “Operation Kagaar”, which is pointed against the Maoist guerrilla and the Adivasi people.
During these 19 months of “Operation Kagaar”, the reactionary hindutva-brahmanic State has murdered about 400 persons, including women and children, apart from poor peasants and unarmed Adivasi, who are presented in the media as guerrilla, reporting on“armed confrontations” which never happened. This is a genocidal and counter-insurgent tactic that is called “false positives”. The pretension is to present the State as strong, that is realizing assertive actions against insurgent groups, especially against the CPI(Maoist), which the regime and imperialism consider as “the biggest internal threat for the State”. Part of this operation is also the arbitrary detention, kidnapping and forced disappearing of activists, including students, intellectuals, journalists and generally speaking, the people, as well as the academics, democratic organizations and defenders of the human rights in all of India are denouncing it.
As we can observe, it is a reactionary military campaign that is looking to seed terror in the civil population, in order to try unsuccessfully to isolate the Maoist guerrilla, which has widespread roots inside the people. This is a necessity for the regime to be able to impose its imperialist mega-projects of their masters (USA, and Russia, mainly), exploiting the natural resources of the country and maintaining the regime of casts, which is pushing through and nourishes the hindutva-brahman fascism.
The actions of solidarity to which we summon, can be diverse, and have to promote the initiative, creativity and the revolutionary dynamic of all those who decide to participate. You can share with us your photos or videos of the actions you take and send them to cpsolrojo@gmail.com.
The actions of solidarity have to be developed in the framework of the Week of Martyrs, that the CPI(Maoist) do every year in the period between 28th of July to 3rd of August.
The Actions of solidarity have special relevance after the massacre committed by the fascist regime of Narenda Modi in the past 21st of May in the forests of Abhujmad, where Comrade Basavaraj, General Secretary of the Communist Party of India (Maoist), together with other 26 militant comrades of the Party and the People’s Liberation Guerrilla Army (PLGA) were murdered.
The actions of solidarity are longing to unite the struggles of the proletariat and the peoples of Mexico and India, which a great history of proletarian internationalist struggle initiated with the foundation of the Communist Party of Mexico (1919) and the Communist Party of India (1920) under the unbeaten red banners of the Communist International unite us.
As internationalists, we say that the heroes of the Indian people are heroes of the proletariat and the people of the world, so we will honor the memory, life and struggle of Comrade Basavaraj and all communists, guerrilla fighters, activists, and people’s masses who fought under the example of the immortal Comrade Charú Mazumdar, and the leadership of the Party in midst of the People’s War, with whom the New Power is arising.
