INTERNATIONAL DAY OF ACTION FOR DR. ERNESTO SERNAS GARCÍA!
EVERYONE TAKE TO THE STREETS THIS AUGUST 30TH!

The Peruvian Popular Movement endorses the call of the national and international campaign promoted by the democratic and mass organizations of Oaxaca and the people of Mexico for the return alive of Dr. Ernesto Cernas García, a distinguished jurist and defender of the rights of the people of his country.

For the reasons set forth in the call for August 30, International Day of the Disappeared, published by SOL ROJO MEXICO, which we publish below, we call for actions in Peru and internationally to:

a) Demand the return alive of Dr. Ernesto Cernas García
b) Demand the immediate dismissal of Michel Julián López as head of the Local Commission for the Search for Persons in Oaxaca

In this regard, on August 30, International Day of the Disappeared: carry out international actions, preferably in Mexican embassies and consulates, demanding the return alive of Dr. Ernesto Cernas García, using the international campaign poster, and deliver notes to Mexican diplomatic missions. Demanding the immediate dismissal of Michele Julián López, head of the “State Commission for the Search for Persons in Oaxaca,” for her acts of simulation, revictimization, criminalization, and violation of the rights of the disappeared activists, their families, and their lawyers, as has been duly documented.
