We hereby share a documentary on the Heroic Peasant Resistance of Corumbiara and an unofficial translation of an introductory note by Resistencia Camponesa.
On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Heroic Peasant Resistance of Santa Elina, the portal Resistência Camponesa will publish a series of commemorative posts for the date. These will include historical texts, photographs, and videos that recover this heroic chapter in the history of our people in their long-standing struggle for land.
Rewatch the testimonies of peasants who conquered the land in the areas Renato Nathan, Zé Bentão, and Maranatã (formerly the Santa Elina latifundium). The documentary was released in 2015, in honor of the 20th Anniversary of the Heroic Peasant Battle of Santa Elina.
