Mexico – Oaxaca: The Demand to Present Dr. Ernesto Sernas Garcia Alive Grows

We hereby share the unofficial translation of a note published by Sol Rojo on the demonstration of tomorrow. Numerous organizations joined the demand to present Dr.Ernesto Sernas García alive.

Various people’s organizations, human rights defenders, and unions in the State of Oaxaca continue to demand the presentation of Dr. Ernesto Sernas García alive, who was disappeared by the Mexican State on May 10, 2018, at his home in San Agustín de las Juntas, Oaxaca.

On the occasion of the International Day of the Detained-Disappeared, commemorated on August 30, nearly thirty organizations are supporting the call to action and the united march of the popular movement for the presentation of Dr. Sernas García alive.

The gathering of different organized sectors around the demand for the presentation of this democratic lawyer alive, son of the people, is an important demonstration of solidarity, unity on principles, and unity in action.
