
France: Thousands Blockade the Country and Clashes Erupt

Macron appointed Sébastien Lecornu as a new Prime Minister yesterday night. On his first day in charge he had to deal with massive demonstrations, blockades all over the country and a fierce resistance by the French people and working class against the attacks by the repressive forces. So far, there are more than 300 detainees, reportedly.
The social media accounts of the Ligue de la Jeunesse Révolutionnaire (LJR) are extensively reporting on actions carried out throughout France. Despite the huge mobilization of repressive forces by the French State, they could not fulfill their goals of unblocking or preventing the blockades in main highways, entrances of cities, high schools, etc. We hereby share a brief overview of how the mobilizations across France developed.
In the capital, Paris, many clashes are taking place. The police intervened at the Montreuil entrance trying to avoid a blockade of the roads:
The main bus station of Paris got blocked by the movement of 10th of September at dawn. Clashes erupted between the activists and the repressive forces who used tear gas grenades:
Paris started the morning with several fires on the streets:
Hundreds of demonstrators approached the police station of Nord and are clashing with the police forces. According to several sources, more than 1,000 demonstrators participated in this action:
High schools have been blocked, for example the high school Hélène Boucher, where the police forces were rejected and the students showed their fierceness:
In the periphery of Paris blockades and demonstrations have been organized. In Aubervilliers the highway of the entrance of the city was blocked:
St Denis got blocked this morning by a non registered mobilization. Massive crowds of people joined the mobilization:
In Lyon actions have been carried out for the last few days. As a part of these actions three LJR activists were detained in Lyon after an action of opening tolls stations:
50 activists participated in those actions where the police used tear gasses and charged against the activists:
This morning the periphery was blocked by trash bins and fires on the tram ways:

Rennes has been a hot spot of the struggle. The high-school Coëlogon has been blocked. Jeunes Révolutionnaires (JR) activists formed a bloc and marched demanding the resignation of Macron and expressing solidarity with Palestine:
At dawn the main highways to access the city were blocked by activists and burning barricades:
After those blockades the JR activists participated in the demonstration in the city:
In Caen the struggle is fierce with many detained by the repressive forces. The LJR and JR activists have been present since the beginning in the actions. Despite the repression the protests continue:
Toulouse, as many other cities, witnessed at dawn several fires and blockades cutting the main roads of the city:
