Partizan Veteran Gazi Ünder was Commemorated in Linz

We hereby share an unofficial translation of a note published by Yeni Demokrasi. Gazi Ünder lost his life on August 7. We reported on these news:

Partizan veteran Gazi Ünder, who lost his life due to a heart attack on his way back from the AGEB [Translator’s note: Union of Migrant Workers in Europe] Holiday Camp, was commemorated in Linz, Austria.

A commemoration ceremony was held on September 6. He was a board member of the association. The ceremony was held at the Linz Umut Cultural Center Association affiliated with ATİGF [Translator’s note: The Federation of Workers and Youth from Turkey in Austria].

The commemoration was attended by his family and comrades, as well as members of federation-affiliated associations and supporters. The commemoration began with a moment of silence. Speeches on behalf of the institutions followed and the commemoration concluded with a dinner hosted by family members and the Umut Cultural Center.
