Servir al Pueblo reports that “the 24-hour General Strike on Wednesday, October 15, was a significant day of internationalist struggle. There were over 200 rallies and demonstrations in cities and towns across the Spanish State, as well as thousands of blockades in front of major companies and universities.” Thousands took to the streets, and actions were conducted against businesses linked to the genocide occurring in the Gaza Strip. There were massive marches in Madrid, with moments of struggle and tension especially in Barcelona and Valencia.
In Madrid and its surroundings, hundreds of thousands mobilized, conducting numerous actions against companies associated with the genocide. In the Henares Corridor, there was intense mobilization in the days ahead of the general strike for Palestine. Various agitation actions were organized, as well as protests against businesses which collaborate with the genocide. Blockades were held at metro stations and in front of companies like Airbus and Indra:

Numerous blockades and combative actions by the unions and other organizations took place across Madrid and its surroundings:
It has been reported that the proletariat lacked information on the strike due to media censorship and the role of the “bureaucratic and yellow leadership of CCOO and UGT, which called for partial 2 hour- strikes.” Mobilizations also took place at the University of Alcalá de Henares.

Workers boycotted a supermarket, being repressed by police officers:

Activists from the Revolutionary Committee of Madrid (CRM) moved to the city and blocked streets in a working-class neighborhood, joining a march toward the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. CRM activists distributed leaflets.

In the afternoon there was a march in Madrid, where hundreds of thousands of people gathered:

In Barcelona, there were numerous mobilizations and combative actions. A major highway was blockaded, along with access to sporting events and the entrance to the city’s port. Combative blockades and barricades were erected. The Israeli Consulate was targeted with fireworks and firecrackers, leading to multiple clashes with police. Actions were also carried out against shops of monopolies involved in the genocide, for example protests against Burger King branches. A total of 15 people were arrested.

In València, three individuals were arrested for carrying out sabotage during the early hours of October 15. Actions were conducted against businesses, including protests at McDonald’s branches.

Thousands took to the streets and blockaded monopoly branches, such as Orange and Starbucks:

Servir al Pueblo published a video of the demonstration:
The fiercest confrontations occurred when thousands of protesters attempted to disrupt the basketball game between Valencia Basket and Hapoel Tel Aviv. Helicopters and drones were deployed. Opportunistic leaders tried to disband the crowd, but between 700 and 1,000 protesters maintained their protest and struggle. Police charged multiple times and fired rubber bullets, resulting in injuries to at least two people and the arrest of five individuals.
