On Friday the 24th of October, Israel once again violated the ceasefire and sovereignty of Lebanon, with an attack including multiple drone and air strikes across southern Lebanon.
An Israeli drone strike in the southern Lebanese town of Zawtar al-Gharbiya, targeted a vehicle and murdered one civilian and injured another.
Two Lebanese civilians were murdered in a separate attack by an Israeli airstrike in the nearby town of Toul.
Since the initiation of the ceasefire with Hezbollah in November 2024, Israel has continuously violated the ceasefire with attacks, even still occupying land in southern Lebanon.
According to the IDF, they have confirmed over 500 airstrikes on what they allege to be “Hezbollah targets”, since the initiation of the ceasefire, which according to the Lebanese Armed Forces have been violated almost daily.
According to the UN, 108 civilian targets, including 71 men, 21 women and 16 children have been confirmed as casualties, and 19 people have been abducted, as a result of Israels illegal attacks.
