On 17th of November a strike carried out by drivers took place in Kenya. Drivers of platforms like Uber, Bolt and Farasi called for a total shutdown. The Communist Party Marxist (CPM) of Kenya joined the mobilizations and participated in the first lines of the protest, as well as the Revolutionary Youth League:

The CPM-Kenya denounced the role of the Kenyan State as well as imperialism, being the monopolies which are exploiting the workers.

The Revolutionary Students Commission joined the calls and mobilizations, standing also in solidarity with the workers:

During these mobilizations the CPM-Kenya held several speeches and did an intense agitation among the striking workers:

After two days of strike and mobilization, the workers rallied in front of the Ministry of Roads and Transport, demanding an answer to their demands. The ministry announced the acceptance of the demands of the workers resulting in a victory after two days of nationwide strike:

Kenyan press reported that the Kenyan authorities mandated a 50% fare increase. Therefore the drivers are expected to see a notable boost in their earnings, which will improve their overall working conditions.
