Further Election Sabotage Actions Reported in Denmark
Denmark recently concluded its municipal elections, and on this occasion many sabotage actions for a boycott of the bourgeois elections have been observed.
Roede Fane of Denmark, writes in the aftermath of the election: “Despite the conclusion of the election, nothing fundamental is changing in society. The election was presented as an opportunity to ‘gain influence,’ but many are beginning to realize that it is often just the same old election rhetoric.”
“The illusion of democracy remains important to those in power so that they can make decisions on behalf of the people and still call it democracy. In the weeks leading up to the election, even more money and resources were spent by the parties and media monopolies to lure voters to the ballot box than was done for the municipal election of 2021.”
