Actions Against Operation Kagar in Turkey and Germany

Partizan, among other forces, will participate in a rally on December 13 under the slogan “Stop the Operation Kagar in India, End the Massacre.”.

In addition to denouncing murder, sexual violence and displacement, the call highlights that Operation Kagar is designed to “seize Indigenous lands and open the way for the plunder of lucrative mineral resources by overriding the rights of the local people, seeks to “cleanse” the region of Maoists in order to achieve this objective.”

Against this violence, revolutionary organizations in Turkey have called for a rally in front of the Indian consulate in Istanbul.

In the neighborhood of Blockdiek, in Bremen this week, Dem Volke Dienen reports that banners have appeared along the main street and the tram line denouncing Operation Kagaar and the attacks on the Adivasi population in India.

Dem Volke Dienen writes that the banners had translations into Hindi, and were hung in the vicinity of the largest Hindu temple in Northern Germany “in order to draw the attention of as many people of Indian background as possible to the current crimes of the old Indian State.”
