Rally Against Operation Kagar by the Indian Consulate in Istanbul
Under the slogan “Stop Operation Kagar! End the Massacres!” hundreds protested in front of the Indian consulate in Istanbul called for by Partizan and other forces.
Slogans such as “Stop Operation Kagar!”, “Lal Salam, Lal Salam, Lal Salam to India!”, “The Adivasi People Are Not Alone!”,, “Comrade Hidma Is Immortal!”, “Comrade Basavaraj Is Immortal!”, or “Long Live Revolutionary Solidarity!” were chanted during the rally.
In the statement, released in English and Turkish, they denounce the severe repression of the Indian State against the revolutionary forces to serve their goal of plundering the land for corporative benefits. They also mention the cold-blooded murder of Comrade Hidma in a false encounter, and the increasing murders by the state, reaching as high as 550 since September 2025.
At the end, they made a call demanding the immediately stop of all crimes against the people, the end of Operation Kagar, recognition of the collective rights of the Adivasis and the release of all political prisoners.
