Austria: Freedom for Ahmad Hilal!

On Friday 19th of December a rally in solidarity with Ahmad Hilal took place in Vienna, reports Die Rote Fahne Austria. 80 people participated and demanded the freedom and total acquittal of the activist Ahmad Hilal. 12 organizations called for the mobilization, a call shared by Die Rote Fahne:

The large police deployment only served to further encourage the protesters and their demands and slogans, which focused on opposing the repression against the Palestinian movement and the criminalization against the Palestinian resistance, which is labeled as “terrorism”. The participants stressed the necessity to do more actions, as well as to develop a united protest.
Additionally there were more mobilizations which took place in Vienna and in Tirol/Innsbruck, where also solidarity with the revolutionary prisoners in Turkey was expressed:
