India: Thousands Attend the Funeral of Ganesh Uike

On December 25, six Maoists, including CPI (Maoist) Central Committee member Paka Hanumanthu, were murdered in an attack by the old Indian State. Yeni Demokrasi reports that thousands of people attended the funeral of Paka Hanumanthu (Ganesh Uike), member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of India (Maoist) in his hometown.

The funeral was held in his village, Pullemla, in Nalgonda district of Telangana state. The masses carried the coffin on their shoulders and chanted “Ganesh is Immortal!”.

A moment of silence was observed and a massive march was carried out while chanting slogans. We hereby share some pictures and videos of the ceremony:
