Eleven paramilitaries were injured on Monday as improvised explosive devices (IEDs) exploded during an anti-Maoist operation carried out in Bijapur, Chhattisgarh, according to local reports. The operation has been carried out now for 21 days.

The blasts took place in the forests of Karregutta Hills. One injured was part of the Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (CoBRA) and ten were part of the District Reserve Guard (DRG). The old Indian State considers the Karregutta Hills as an stronghold of the Maoist presence. The reactionary forces reinforced their presence in the area, in the framework of the genocidal Operation Kagaar.

Despite the claims made by Amit Shah and Narendra Modi, that Maoism will “end” by March 31, 2026, the resistance has not fallen and the old Indian State keeps facing casualties. We recently reported on the annihilation of a former old Indian State official, also in Bijapur:
