Switzerland – Germany: Tens of Thousands of People Took to the Streets for Rojava

We hereby share a report published by the website of the Coordinating Committee of the Anti-Imperialist League (AIL).

Switzerland:

The attacks by HTS gangs on Rojava were protested in Germany and Switzerland with tens of thousands of participants.
On Saturday, 24 January, thousands of people, including Partizan and many revolutionary organisations, gathered at Helvetiaplatz (Zurich). Partizan and the Anti-Imperialist League marched with a joint banner bearing the inscription:

From Rojava to Gaza, united against imperialist barbarism!

The fighters will have the last word!

Until victory, Serhıldan – until victory, Intifada!

Many slogans were chanted during the demonstration. The crowd set off fireworks during the march. Leaflets from the Anti-Imperialist League on Rojava were distributed in the square. After the march, the demonstration ended back at Helvetiaplatz.

Germany:

Tens of thousands of people took to the streets in Germany to protest against the attacks by HTŞ gangs. The march took place in the German cities of Cologne, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Hanover and Nuremberg. Tens of thousands chanted slogans such as ‘Biji Berxwedana Rojava!’, ‘Long live international solidarity!’, ‘Down with Colani, Tayyip, Trump!’, ‘Long live the resistance of the Kurdish people!’ and ‘Jin, Jiyan, Azadi!’. Leaflets from the Anti-Imperialist League on Rojava were also distributed.
