Several new actions and calls were carried out after the Yankee aggression against Venezuela on January 3 and following the call by the Anti-imperialist League to making February 3 the Day of International Action to Reject the Yankee Imperialist Aggression in Venezuela.
In São Paulo (SP), Brazil, the Organization Commission of the International Anti-imperialist League (CoLAI-SP) together with the newspaper A Nova Democracia of SP called on all fighters of the people, democrats, progressives, revolutionaries and, especially, the anti-imperialists, to an agitation on February 3 and to a demonstration on February 7.

In Colombia the date for the National Anti-imperialist Meeting, called by the Coordinator of People’s Struggles (CLP) on their webpage, was established. It will take place on January 28 in Medellin, and a poster was also published.

On Saturday, January 24, a demonstration against the imperialist aggression on Venezuela took place in Vienna. During the demonstration many Venezuelan flags and banners could be seen, but also red and Palestinian flags. The demonstration had the support of a united front of different organizations and initiatives.

They set off from the European Union building, as the role of the EU as an imperialist alliance complicit in aggression against the peoples of Latin America was also denounced. “The EU shows us every day that it tramples on the sovereignty and independence of peoples. Let us rise up against the imperialists of the EU, against their militarization and rearmament, and against their warmongering!” it read in the statement from Action for the Democratic Rights of the People (ADRV).
The report from Die Rote Fahne Austria adds “During the demonstration, activists burned a US flag. This militant action expressed an unyielding stance against US imperialism.”

In Hamburg, Germany, the Red League participated in a demonstration for Venezuela and made a speech highlighting the spirit of struggle and the will from the oppressed peoples to win:
The translation of the speech is as follows: Anti-imperialists, let’s unite against the aggression of Yankee imperialism in Latin America! Their arrogance and shamelessness are an expression of the deep crisis of their system. They try to regain what they’ve lost. If possible, they will deploy troops in Venezuela to further intensify their aggression against Latin America. They are already in the process of deploying troops in Ecuador. But they are afraid to launch a second wave of stronger attacks against Venezuela because they know they cannot win a large-scale war, as their pathetic withdrawal after the heroic resistance of the Afghan people demonstrated. The peoples of Latin America are ready to fight and defend with lead every piece of their territory attacked by Yankee imperialism. May the United States tear itself apart in its aggression against Latin America and may the peoples arm themselves with courage in this struggle for their liberation! Yankees, go home! Down with aggression against Venezuela! Strengthen the Anti-Imperialist Front!
On January 3, just after the aggression, another similar speech was made:
In Cologne, there was a successful event at the monthly meeting of Red League, which brought together a dozen people. During the presentation, the latest aggressions of Yankee imperialism against the Venezuelan State were exposed, and how these imperialist crimes fit into the general context of the US strategy to subjugate the oppressed nations of Latin America. The debate focused on the tasks, as revolutionary and anti-imperialist activists, to combat these aggressions and to strengthen the justified anti-imperialist resistance against them, highlighting the founding of the Anti-Imperialist League.

In Finland, several demonstrations have been called for on February 3 as part of the international campaign launched by AIL.
“Anti-imperialists – Helsinki invites all anti-imperialist forces to a demonstration in front of the US Embassy (Itäinen Puistotie 14 B, 00140 Helsinki) on February 3 at 18:00. There will be speeches and the microphone will be open,” reports Punalippu.

In Tampere, Anti-imperialist Collective called on a demonstration on the Keskustori square on February 3 at 18h.

In Copenhagen, Denmark, a demonstration was carried out on January 22 in solidarity with the struggle of the Venezuelan people and all of Latin America. War cries such as “Yankee, go home!” and “Hands off Venezuela!” were heard. Various organizations gave speeches, all of which condemned the abuses and domination of US imperialism over Latin American countries.

Graffiti also appeared with the slogan “All imperialists out from Greenland and Venezuela!”

In Valencia, Spanish State, a call for a rally on February 3 was made:
That same day there will be another demonstration in Lisbon, Portugal, organized by Anti-imperialist Action (AAI), the Brazilian Center of Solidarity with the Peoples (CEBRASPO) in Europe, the Collective Mamia Abu-Jamal and the Anti-imperialist League (Portugal).
