We hereby share an unofficial translation of an article published by Yeni Demokrasi.

Dursun Er, who is imprisoned in the Adana F Type Closed Prison, is not being allowed transfer to the hospital.

Dursun Er, who was taken to the prison infirmary due to an eye ailment, was requested to be transferred to a hospital. However, upon leaving the prison, Er was subjected to an oral search. When Er protested this inhumane torture, his transfer to the hospital was prevented.

The Partizan prisoner, whose right to treatment was denied, chanted slogans such as “Human Dignity Will Overcome Torture” and “Treatment is a Right, It Cannot Be Denied” in the prison corridors.
