Yankee imperialism has over the last few days been amassing their military around Iran in preparation for a possible attack on it’s nuclear infrastructure. The US has warned that if Iran does not cease the development of their nuclear program, that an attack could be imminent.
Trump has on the occasion of the end of peace talks with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragachi in Geneva threatened that a new attack could happen in “probably ten days.”
During the negotiations on the nuclear program, which took place on February 17th, the US Navy was already getting its ships into position. The Lincoln Carrier Strike Group, headed by the the USS Abraham Lincoln was last observed in the Northern Arabian Sea. The Ford Carrier Strike Group is also currently on its way to the region.
On February 19, the Iranian Armed Forces closed the Strait of Hormuz to conduct a major military exercise, which included Russia. A Nova Democracia (AND) reports that: “in this way, Iran intends to deter Yankee imperialist aggression, while Russia is interested in maintaining the Iranian regime as a strategic factor to prevent the complete deterioration of the Russian presence in the region.”
AND goes on to report that: “Seeking to unite the different forces in Iran around the defense of national integrity, after two months of repression, on February 13, the Iranian government began the process of releasing citizens arrested for police excesses who were not involved with Zionist conspirators, issuing a request for forgiveness and a call for national defense in the face of Yankee threats.”
