Successful Mobilization for the Worker Juan Pablo Jiménez in Santiago of Chile

The newspaper El Pueblo reports on a successful mobilization that took place on February 21 to remember Juan Pablo Jiménez, a union leader murdered by the employer that same day in 2013.

One hundred workers, together with students, residents and several union, popular, class and revolutionary organizations marched in the homage to the union leader 13 years after his murder.

The newspaper el Pueblo adds: “Despite the years, Juan Pablo’s example of struggle lives on in those who continue the fight day after day to improve the working and living conditions of the working class and the people as a whole.”
