Attack on the Ecuadorian-Iranian Cultural Center in Quito

The Defense Front of the People’s Struggles of Ecuador (FDLP-EC) has denounced on its social media a violent racist attack against the Ecuadorian-Iranian Cultural Center in Quito. The aggressors broke in with sticks and pepper spray, assaulting families, including children, and causing destruction while Ramadan celebration.

In response to the aggression, a call for help has been made to identify the attackers and ensure that “acts of this magnitude and violence do not go unpunished.”
