Hands Off Iran- No to NATO Terror- Public Protest 6pm Tuesday March 10- US Embassy, Dublin.

Anti-Imperialist Action Ireland stands in full solidarity with the Iranian Republic and the Iranian People as they heroically resist the Imperialist attack on their country by US, British and Zionist Imperialism.

In particular we salute the soldiers of the IRGC who in the face of the Imperialist onslaught have stood firm and rallied their people to fight their common enemy and the striking of US and British Military bases across the Middle East and the just and legitimate counter assault on the illegal Zionist Entity.

The Imperialist Attack in Iran which has developed into a regional war, demonstrates that Imperialism can no longer rule in the old way, and is attempting to address the contradictions in its own system through war.

As Irish Socialist Republicans, we assert that Imperialism cannot be negotiated with, it’s international objective now includes the toppling of any country that can be considered anti-imperialist, and the only option open to the People of Iran is that of resistance. To defeat imperialism, Iran and anti imperialists across the Middle East are now entering a long war of resistance in defence of their homeland, but also for the ultimate destruction and defeat of the Zionist Entity. The destruction of the Zionist settler colony and the liberation of Palestinian is the only way to bring a lasting peace to the Middle East and its people.

Iran has demonstrated its anti-imperialism in very practical ways, not least being one of the most steadfast supporters and allies of the Palestinian Resistance who continue their fight for national liberation. Furthermore the Imperialist attacks on Iran, like the Zionist bombardment of Lebanon and the imperialist invasion of Syria, must be seen as part of the wider Imperialist encirclement of Palestine to support its Zionist Colony that it will continue to attempt to maintain no matter the cost.

The Irish and Iranian People have a common enemy in US-British Imperialism and Zionism with NATO continuing to bring war to people around the world. Already in Ireland the cost of the Imperialist attack on Iran is being felt in rising fuel and energy costs, and the Free State serving the objectives of its semi-colonial masters by continuing to facilitate the presence of US imperialist and NATO Military presence at Shannon Airport.

AIA calls for all those in Ireland who are opposed to Imperialist War to focus on the issue of Shannon Airport and the presence of NATO across the 32 Counties, and build a campaign to confront and defeat imperialism that is rooted in communities across Ireland.

We further call for anti-imperialists in the Imperial core, particularly the US and Britain, to increase your efforts in resisting your own Imperialist governments as the most effective way of demonstrating international solidarity with Iran, Palestinian and the wider Middle Eastern region.

For our part, Anti-Imperialist Action Ireland calls on all who are opposed to this imperialist attack on Iran and who stand in solidarity with Iran, Palestine and the People of the wider region to join us in a solidarity demonstration outside the US embassy in Dublin at 6pm on Tuesday March 10!
