The Yankee Imperialist War of Aggression on Iran – Day 7

As the first week of the Yankee imperialist war of aggression toward Iran draws to a close, Yankee imperialism and its lackey, the State of Israel, continues to strike both military and civilian targets, and after a week the death-toll has hit 1,322 people murdered in Iran. Despite claims from the US that missiles and drone attacks from Iran have “decreased by 90%”, Iran keeps defending itself by retaliatory attacks against US and Israeli points of interest, and the Strait of Hormuz is still blocked for traffic.
The Commander for the US Central Command claims that “over the last 24 hours, Iranian ballistic missile attacks have decreased by 90% and drone attacks by 83% while US strikes against the Iranian Navy “have intensified,” sinking 30 ships and striking a drone ship that is currently on fire.”
According to State media Tasnim News Agency, Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claims that a drone has struck the US Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier, and that it was subsequently escorted by destroyers from the Carrier Strike Group 3 of the US Navy thousands of kilometers away from the region.
IRGC also claims that Tel Aviv was hit in a new wave of retaliatory attacks under the operation “True Promise 4”, including attacks with missiles and attack drones, “causing widespread damage to key locations in Tel Aviv.”
IRGC says it fired large numbers of Khorramshahr-4, Kheibar, and Fattah missiles toward Israel and struck US bases in Kuwait with drones, while warning further attacks would follow in the coming hours.
An Israeli drone was shot down and found in Lorestan in western Iran.
Tens of thousands of people gathered in Tehran to protest against the attacks by the US and Israel. The protesters were heard chanting “No to ceasefire with the US.” During the demonstration, the crowd called for revenge, shouting slogans like “Death to America, Death to Israel.”
Israel said it has reinforced its forces in Lebanon and have taken control of additional positions. Israel issued an evacuation order to residents in dozens of Lebanese border villages as they intensify strikes around the area of Beirut.
Hezbollah military media have reported many strikes within the State of Israel, in response to the escalation of Israeli attacks on Lebanon.
According to local reports, the Lebanese government has instructed military and security agencies to arrest IRGC members in Lebanon, after Hezbollah waged armed actions against the State of Israel in support of Iran. Reportedly, Israel made an ultimatum to the Lebanese State.
The war of aggression on Iran is costing Yankee imperialism a lot of money, with Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) estimating a cost of around 3,7 billion USD so far, with an approximate 891.4 million USD in costs each day. Oil prices are also continuing to rise as the Strait of Hormuz continues to be locked down, with a barrel of oil reaching 88 USD per barrel, up more than 4% since yesterday.
On March 1st in Vienna, Austria, a demonstration was organized denouncing the US and Israeli attacks on Iran. Numerous organizations, especially those from the Palestine solidarity movement, participated in the rally at St. Stephen’s Square. Many banners and flags were present. One such banner from the Palestine Committee Vienna read: “USA/Israel: Hands off Iran! Down with imperialism!”
Rallies against the Yankee imperialist aggression on Iran have been organized in Corinth and Herakleion, Greece.
