We hereby share an unofficial translation of a statement made by Kampkomiteen on the Yankee imperialist war on Iran.

USA out of the Middle East!
Kampkomiteen strongly condemns US imperialism and Israel’s criminal war against Iran. These genocidal world leaders seek to impose their will on the Iranian people. The first attacks have been directed against Iran’s top leaders, unarmed civilians – including a primary school – and the country’s infrastructure and military capabilities. Hundreds have been killed. Iran, for its part, is fighting back in a just war of resistance and has struck Yankee and Zionist targets in a number of countries.
The aggression of the US and Israel is clearly in violation of international law, the UN Charter, and every law and right that exists among the states of the world today. This war, which already involves acts of war in ten countries in and outside the region, from the Persian Gulf to the Mediterranean, is a continuation of fifty years of sanctions, pressure, acts of war, blackmail, and threats against Iran. Through such actions, US imperialism has already caused enormous problems for Iran’s economy. They are directly responsible for much of the suffering in the country, even in “peacetime.”
The true nature of the war is fully revealed by who is initiating it. US imperialism and the Zionist state of Israel, Trump and Netanyahu, are the biggest terrorists in the world today. The genocide in Palestine is known to us all. So too are their lies and deceit, their boundless corruption, and their contempt for the oppressed people of the world.
Furthermore, the track record of US imperialism is well known. No one has started more wars than the US. No one has deposed more heads of state. No one has murdered so many people since the end of World War II. From Korea and Vietnam to Central America, the Balkans, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Those who have been directly murdered number in the millions, and those indirectly murdered number in the tens of millions. These are facts that no one can deny.
Now this genocidal machine is attacking Iran, and every anti-imperialist and every democrat must condemn and fight against this imperialist war. Our solidarity with the Iranian people and all the oppressed peoples and nations of the world is boundless. We unreservedly support the right of nations to self-determination. We unreservedly support the right and duty of the oppressed to armed resistance. We consistently condemn and fight against every imperialist war and aggression. Our main enemy is the main enemy of the peoples of the world, the world’s only hegemonic superpower, US imperialism.
