Yankee imperialism and Israel have intensified their bombardment of Iran overnight, targeting energy infrastructure and fuel reserves. US intelligence agencies have reported that even a large-scale US assault would likely fail to topple Iran’s government. Iran continues its defense and has launched its 27th wave of “Operation True Promise 4”, targeting US and Israeli positions in the region.

The Iranian Red Crescent said Sunday that 9,669 civilian sites have been struck in US and Israeli attacks on the country, and that this includes 7,943 residential units, 1,617 commercial buildings, 32 medical and treatments centers and 65 schools.

Yankee imperialism and its lackey Israel struck an oil refinery during the night in northeastern Tehran, causing extensive fires.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claims that its 27th wave of Operation True Promise 4 successfully targeted the Haifa Oil Refinery in Israel in retaliation for the US-Israeli strike on the Tehran Oil Refinery. They also targeted the desalination facility in Bahrein, considered critical infrastructure.

Iran’s top security official Ali Larijani stated that several Yankee soldiers had been taken prisoner during the ongoing war of aggression against Iran, accusing Washington of attempting to conceal the incident. The US government denied these claims.

IRGC also claims that drone units successfully targeted a location in the “Marina” area where US military personnel were stationed, near buildings belonging to Warner Bros.

The IRGC naval force shelled the command unit of unmanned vessels (Shahbad) belonging to the US Fifth Fleet, as well as US military support warehouses in Bandar Salman, IRGC claims in their statement.

IRGC claims in a statement that “the headquarters of the United States Fifth Fleet and the strategic Al Udeid Air Base, along with Al Dhafra Air Base, Al Jufra Air Base, and Sheikh Isa Air Base, were subjected to heavy and repeated missile and drone bombardment.”

In the last 5 days, the Israeli aggression on Lebanon have so far murdered 217 people, and injured 798, Al Mayadeen reports.

Israeli warplanes carried out raids on the towns of Rcheif, Srebbine, and Shaukine, all located in Nabatieh. In addition, eight members of a single family were murdered in an airstrike on a residential building in the town of Tefahata in the Saida district. In the town of Seer-al-Gharbiya, Israel carried out a massacre on a family, murdering 20 family members in an airstrike.

Hezbollah announced a series of operations targeting northern Israel. Kiryat Shmona was struck at 6:30 AM today with a swarm of attack drones. A rocket barrage targeted a gathering of Israeli occupation soldiers at the al-Malikiyah site opposite Aitaroun.

Hezbollah claims that they struck a gathering of Israeli military vehicles at the al-Qabaa heights on the southeastern outskirts of Markaba. In addition, the city of Nahariya was targeted with rockets, after a previous warning to evacuate was issued.

The actions carried out by the Lebanese resistance have already caused a failure for the State of Israel, that has been admitted by Netanyahu himself. A special forces operation deep inside Lebanon on Saturday failed. Netanyahu stated that “The operation carried out last night did not produce what we were looking for”.

On Saturday, a senior cleric in the Assembly of Experts said its members would meet “within one day” to choose the leader. Two members of the panel, Ayatollah Mohsen Heidari Alekasir and Ahmad Alamolhoda, said the assembly had chosen a successor. The results are expected to be available soon.

Additionally the cost of oil continues rapidly increasing, with banks making predictions that the price per barrel could reach 150 USD by the end of the month if the Strait of Hormuz remains closed.
