Amid Yankee imperialism’s statements of impending “death, fire and fury” for Iran, the war of aggression is escalating further, with Yankee and Israeli bombardment of Iran and Lebanon continuing to mount as Iran continues its defense, launching its 33rd and 34th retaliatory wave of “Operation True Promise 4”, targeting among other targets critical energy infrastructure in Israeli territory.

The Iranian ISNA news agency is reporting that five people have been killed and several injured in a US-Israeli air strike that hit a residential building in the city of Arak, in western Iran. Additionally, An attack on residential buildings in eastern Tehran killed at least 40 people, Al Jazeera reports. The death-toll reached 1,332 people murdered in Iran. The IRGC’S spokesperson highlighted the criminal character of the Yankee imperialist aggression, by stating: “This is not our war. This is not our choice. This war is imposed on us.”

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Iran has launched the 34th wave of “Operation True Promise 4”, firing precision missiles equipped with warheads exceeding one ton against US and Israeli bases, according to an official statement. An 8th casualty has been acknowledged by Yankee imperialism. Additionally the IRGC stated that they struck a US military’s Harir base in the Iraqi Kurdistan.

Iran announces that they have targeted Israeli oil and gas facilities as part of the 33rd wave of “Operation True Promise 4” in retaliation for strikes made on the Shahran oil depot in Tehran, by launching drones targeting the Haifa refinery and fuel storage tanks, and despite an announced campaign of “death, fire and fury” to unblock the travel of oil through the Strait of Hormuz, the Strait remains closed. The Israeli Health Ministry itself has acknowledged that 191 people were admitted in hospitals in the past 24 hours, which constitutes a big increase in comparison with the previous days of this criminal aggression.

The issues caused by the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz on global trade is felt not only for Yankee imperialism but for the whole global economy, the sudden absence of Iran’s energy exports produce supply shortages and price fluctuations in global markets, causing for instance the unprecedented increase in the price of oil since the start of the war.

What has been seen in the global stock markets so far is, as mentioned, an enormous surge in the price of oil, only temporarily alleviated by promises of “death, fire and fury” in search of an end to the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, with the oil price now lying at 91,72 USD per barrel, about a 30% increase since the start of the war.

The price of gold has also surged since the start of the war of aggression on Iran, reaching last week a high of 5,500 USD per troy ounce. Gold historically rises in price as markets become more volatile, typically in times of war.

What we have also seen is the rise in Weapon Manufacturer stocks. Northrop has seen a rise in 5% since the start of the war, RTX 4,5%, Palantir 5,8% and Lockheed 3%. These so called “Defense firms” typically always surge in price as military conflicts arise.

The US has also announced that they are considering the sale of oil futures (future: a standardized legal contract to buy or sell an asset at a predetermined price for delivery at a specified time in the future.) in an attempt to stabilize the market price. Similar attempts have failed many times in history before as the Center for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS) points out.

Yankee imperialism is bringing the war to Iraq, by targeting the Iraqi resistance and killing four of its combatants. The resistance said it carried out 37 operations over the past 24 hours using dozens of drones and missiles targeting US bases in Iraq and across the region.

Israel continues to wage their criminal aggression on Lebanon. Israeli warplanes carried out a series of airstrikes across southern Lebanon, destroying multiple villages and prompting mass evacuations near the coastal city of Sidon, Al-Manar reports. So far the death toll in Lebanon has reached 486 murdered people, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.

Israeli occupation army launched strikes on the town of Shahabiya in the Tyre district, causing widespread devastation at the targeted site and severely damaged dozens of the surrounding homes.

In response to Israels brutal campaign of bombing, including the use of white phosphorous on the Lebanese town of Yohmor yesterday, Hezbollah combatants carried out a series of operations against Israeli forces.

According to a statement released by Hezbollah’s military media, combatants destroyed three Merkava tanks attempting to advance near the southern Lebanese town of Khiam, after luring Israeli forces into carefully prepared ambushes near the detention center on the southern outskirts of the town.

Combatants also targeted a newly established Israeli position on Tell al-Hamams hill, south of Khiam, as well as a newly established Israeli position on Jabal al-Bat in the border town of Aitaroun with rocket barrages.
