Ecuador: NATIONAL DAY OF POPULAR RESISTANCE

We hereby share an unofficial translation of a call from Anti-imperialist Front – Ecuador.

The time has come to fight against Noboa’s tyranny. The fascist regime has broken the democratic order of the bourgeoisie and has established a narco-dictatorship at the service of imperialism and the mafias, which are one and the same at this point in history.

All workers in Ecuador have a duty to fight against the tyrant. Democratic, patriotic, revolutionary people must put aside their differences to face a greater enemy. We are facing fascism.

We must abandon the democratic fantasy. The revocation is giving the tyrant a lifeline, while the repression of big mafia capital over society is exacerbated.

The 2025 strike showed us the way: prolonged popular resistance against the tyrant and his imperialist masters. It is time to rise up and fight. We call on all Ecuadorians to organize in their territories, to take to the streets on March 13, to unite in the anti-imperialist and anti-fascist struggle.

We must not fear imperialism. The peoples of India, the Philippines, Palestine, and now Iran show us that it is a “paper tiger” in decline, that when they feel the pulse of the people in the streets, they will abandon their banana-growing sepoy.

Everyone to the National Day of Popular Resistance, millions of children of the people against imperialism embodied in the narco-banana tyrant and his armed beasts. We have a world to win and nothing to lose.

Enough with compromise, it’s time to fight!
