Events by the Red Women’s Movement from Germany – NEW FORCES ADVANCE!
We hereby share an unofficial translation of an article found in Dem Volke Dienen.

The series of events of the Red Women’s Movement (RF) was welcomed with curiosity and enthusiasm, embracing the spirit of struggle from 8th of March. In Bremen, Düsseldorf, Essen, Hamburg and Cologne, activists made a presentation on the RF. New comrades joined the organization, marking a good start of the work for the recently created organization.
Numerous participants attended the presentation, many of whom got to know the comrades a few days before, on 8th of March.

During the conference, the origin of patriarchy, as well as its base, private property, was explained. It was highlighted that women’s struggle for their emancipation should be seen as part of the general class struggle. Different currents of feminism were presented, and it was explained that classes divide more than gender, and due to the class context, not all women can unite under a single feminist movement. Several communist leaders, who gave their life for the revolution, were highlighted. In the context of the continuous and heroic struggle of the Indian Maoist, the example of comrade Renuka was given as a model of how communist women struggle against all forms of capitulation and liquidation of the revolutionary movement.

After the conference, the Red Women’s Movement was discussed in smaller groups, and several participants shared actions made around 8th of March.
The information stands also brought a lot of attention. Several took the program of the Red Women’s Movement and the current issue of Roten Post.
