23 days have passed since Yankee imperialism launched its war of aggression on Iran. After escalated attacks on Iran’s nuclear infrastructure, heavy retaliations have been carried out against Israel, targeting its main nuclear research center. As escalations rise throughout the region, Trump has made new threats against Iran with the aim of intimidating it into opening the strait of Hormuz for ship traffic.
Hours after the Natanz nuclear enrichment facility in Iran was struck yesterday, Iran retaliated against Israeli nuclear infrastructure, injuring more than 100 people. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard (IRGC) launched their 73rd wave of retaliatory strikes, with new waves of “Operation True Promise 4”, targeting military installations and security centers in Arad, Dimona, Eilat, Beer al-Saba’, and Kiryat Gat.
Eight Israelis were eliminated in the strikes, and according to the Israeli Ministry of Health stated that 303 injured had been admitted to hospitals over the past 24 hours. In the same vein, the amount of Israeli settlers fleeing the country is rapidly increasing, with thousands of people reportedly fleeing via the Tabi crossing with Egypt.
Trump made threats in a statement on social media that if Iran did not open the strait of Hormuz to ship traffic within 48 hours, that “[…] the United States of America will hit and obliterate their various POWER PLANTS, STARTING WITH THE BIGGEST ONE FIRST!”. In response to these remarks Iran vowed that such attacks would “immediately” be met with retaliatory strikes on energy and oil infrastructure across the region.
In Finland on March 15th, a group of anti-imperialists demonstrated at Tampere Town Hall on the occasion of International Al-Quds Day, denouncing the Yankee imperialist war of aggression in Iran.

On Friday afternoon, student associations, unions and organizations of the left gathered at Georgiou Square, in Patras, in an anti-war demonstration. The Communist Party of Greece (Marxist-Leninist) [KKE (m-l)] also participated in the demonstration.

KKE (m-l) also participated in an anti-war demonstration in Xanthi.
