Mobilizations on Occasion of the 50th Anniversary of the Palestinian Land Day

The Palestinian Land Day takes place every March 30, commemorating that on March 30, 1976, when Palestinians confronted the Israeli occupation. Six Palestinians were murdered and hundreds were injured and arrested. Since then, the Palestinian Land Day is an occasion where mobilizations take place all over the world. We hereby share reports about some of them.

A protest took place in the Gaza Strip. The demonstrators also protested against the new ‘death penalty law’ recently passed by the State of Israel.

In Morocco, a rally took place in Tangier marking Palestinian Land Day.

Several anti-imperialist mobilizations took place in France. The Fédération Syndical Étudiante (FSE) commemorated and called for mobilizations the Palestinian Land Day, supporting the resistance and the right for the people of Palestine to recover their land.

FSE Rennes was present at the demonstration in the anti-imperialist march alongside Jeunes Révolutionnaires, AIL-France, OCF, Young Struggle Rennes, and Zora Rennes.

The AIL-France, the FSE and the CPES were also present in Montpellier.

The AIL-France was also present at the mobilizations of Paris and Lyon.

The Palestine Action Committee organized a March in Bordeaux along with the local chapter of the FSE and the PCRF.

A demonstration took place in Madrid, Spanish State, where more than one thousand took to the streets. At the end of the mobilization the organizations called to continue the struggle, for the release of all political prisoners and to reject the imperialist war of aggression on Iran, as well as the aggression on Lebanon.

The International League of People’s Struggle (ILPS) issued a statement.

Demonstrations also took place in Ireland.

A march also took place in Cork, targeting the McDonald’s of the city.

Thousands marched in New York, United States.

Hundreds marched in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
