Commemorations on Occasion of the 110th Anniversary of the Easter Rising in Ireland

Anti-Imperialist Action Ireland announced that this Easter Week the 110th anniversary of the Easter Rising would take place, calling for a march on Sunday in Dublin that they organized. In preparation for this march, the Irish Socialist Republicans carried out several agitation actions as well as several commemorations.
Posters were put up in Dublin’s South Inner City promoting the march that took place on Sunday.
On Friday a commemoration for the Irish Republican Robert Emmet took place. Robert Emmet was part of an Irish Republican movement between the end of the 18th century and the beginning of the 19th century.
A commemoration march took place in Bray.
A wreath-laying ceremony took place in Wexford at the St. Ibars Cemetery.
