Israel Massacres Over 250 in One Day in Lebanon

The State of Israel has carried out murderous attacks on civilian structures all over Lebanon, focusing on the capital, Beirut, murdering over 250 people, and injuring 1,200, with the toll expected to rise as the rubble from the attacks is searched. Israel conducted 100 strikes in 10 minutes, reducing entire apartment blocks to rubble. The strikes targeted neighborhoods in Zrarieh, in Al-Abbasiya, Al-Duweir, Al-Shahabiya and the Qasmiya Bridge. These are the deadliest attacks on Lebanon since the war of aggression started six weeks ago.

These attacks occur one day after that the ceasefire between Yankee imperialism and Iran was agreed. The State of Israel has refused to apply the ceasefire to Lebanon and continues perpetrating war-crimes on the peoples of the Middle East. Iran has demanded that the ceasefire includes all fronts, including Lebanon, stressing that US imperialism must choose between “ceasefire or continued war via Israel”.

In defiance of the murderous aggression of the State of Israel on Lebanon, Hezbollah continues their resistance, with strikes targeting Israeli military infrastructure in Yesud HaMa’ala settlement, as well as Kiryat Shmona. direct clashes with Israeli forces advancing toward Bint Jbeil market have also been reported, as well as drone strikes on the Misgav Am settlement and on an Israeli D9 bulldozer in Taybeh. Israeli troop gatherings in Bint Jbeil, and in the Musa Abbas complex have also been targeted by strikes.
