Solidarity Actions with the Peoples in the Middle East

The actions in solidarity with Iran, Palestine and Lebanon continue amid the continuation of the attacks against the peoples.
In Villa Kennedy, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, an anti-imperialist event under the title “Down with Yankee Aggression! Long live the anti-imperialist struggle!” was carried out. The goal was to denounce the recent imperialist aggressions against Venezuela and Iran, and to link the oppression of their people with the oppression of the people in Brazil. During the event the slogan “Yankees out of Latin America! Israel out of Palestinian Land!” was shouted. Several cultural contributions, including poems and songs, were performed and the US flag was burned.
In Kristiansand, Norway, Kampkomiteen participate in the weekly pro-Palestine demonstrations. They have shared images of the demonstrations from March and also they have put up posters calling on people to participate.
In Thessaloniki, Greece, several organizations, including KKE (m-l), will carry out a demonstration against imperialist war on April 25. In their call, they also denounce the role of the Greek government, that is in the service of imperialism.
Die Rote Fahne, from Austria, published an article on the defeat inflicted by Iran on US imperialism through their resistance war. They also state that “The defense of Iran’s sovereignty, the just national war of defense, and opposition to the aggression of US imperialism and Zionist Israel remain of paramount importance to the peoples of the world. In Austria, too, it is necessary to further strengthen solidarity and unite even more firmly on the basis of anti-imperialism!”
