On Thursday 31st of July the State of Israel has attacked Lebanon once again, violating its sovereignty and the ceasefire agreement reached last November. Israel has constantly breached this agreement and also murdered at least 12 people in another attack against eastern Lebanon in July.
Lebanon’s National News Agency reported at least seven air raids on towns in the Bekaa Valley and a mountainous region in Baalbek in the eastern and northeastern parts of the country, far from the southern border with Israel on Thursday. Israel’s Defense Minister claimed that this attack targeted “the production of precision missiles belonging to Hezbollah in Lebanon”.
Despite the threats and attacks by Israel, Hezbollah officials have said that they will not discuss giving up their arms. Although Hezbollah withdrew about 30 km from the Israeli border, the State of Israel keeps troops in southern Lebanon and continues launching its aggressions on the country.
Since the ceasefire agreement on November 2024, according to Al Manar, Israel has perpetrated at least 4,200 violations of this agreement murdering around 228 people.
