Joseph Humire, high ranking defense official of US imperialism, indicated that many more strikes in Latin America are on the horizon, and that the recent attacks “are just the beginning”. The imperialist intervention, called ‘Operation Total Extermination’, started on March 3, when a farm in Colombia was bombed.

On March 6 a farm was bombed in Ecuador. Trump administration officials claimed at the beginning of March that a “narco-terrorist supply complex” was bombed. The New York Times recently revealed that the facility bombed had nothing to do with drug trafficking, but was in reality a dairy farm. Ecuadorian troops raided the farm before the bombardment, beat and tortured workers of the farm. They also set fire to different facilities, including several abandoned homes in the surrounding area.

Additionally, on March 11, 2026, the United States Embassy held the signing of an agreement which allows the opening of the first office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in Ecuador, in the capital, Quito, further increasing Yankee imperialist intervention in the country.

Humire admitted to the Senate Armed Services Committee that strikes have being conducted across almost 20 Latin American and Caribbean nations. The biggest of these criminal aggressions recently has been the attack on Venezuela, where its President, Nicolas Maduro, and his wife, Cilia Flores, were kidnapped.

We have recently reported on the increasing Yankee imperialist intervention in Latin America:
