Partizan: The G7 Summit Will Be the Summit of Imperialist Contradictions and Aggression
We hereby share an unofficial translation of a call from Partizan published on the 4th of June by Avrupa Haber.
On June 14-15, the leaders of the G7 countries will meet once again. The representatives of barbarism, oppression, decay, degeneration, enslavement, and the most brutal exploitation in the world will announce that they will make new decisions under the guise of “peace,” “security,” “stability,” “democracy,” and “development.”
But the fundamental question for the peoples and oppressed nations of the world is this:
Whose interests are being defended at these summits?
Today, wars are escalating around the world as a result of imperialist competition. The crisis of the imperialist system is deepening poverty, millions are losing their lives on migration routes, and workers are condemned to harsher working conditions. The crisis is increasing unemployment in the labor market, wages are rapidly eroding, social rights are being curtailed, and retirement in the grave is being imposed. At the same time, defense, energy, finance, and technology monopolies are reaping the greatest profits in their history. Accumulated capital is decaying further, further enslaving the people.
The G7 Summit is one of the coordination meetings of the most powerful representatives of this system.
Conflicts stretching from Ukraine to the Middle East, and from Africa to the Asia-Pacific region, are not driven by the interests of the people. They are fueled by competition for control of markets, energy resources, trade routes, and strategic regions.
The G7 Summit should be considered in conjunction with the NATO meeting in July. Under Donald Trump, US imperialism is declaring that the “world order is changing,” and that it will alter all power relations, balances, and rules. First at the G7 Summit, and then at NATO, the extent and direction of the contradictions within the historical Western imperialist alliance will become clearer. The form that these contradictions take among the G7 components will also influence the intensity of the ongoing struggle with Russian and Chinese imperialism.
Today, under the guise of “energy security,” a struggle for dominance over energy resources is being waged. Under the banner of “global security,” there is a concentration of military forces, massive defense budgets, and a large-scale arms race. And under the rhetoric of “technological advancement,” a new race for economic and political supremacy is underway in every field, from artificial intelligence to critical minerals.
Today, the imperialist Western alliance will discuss how and according to what timeline to escalate the war in Ukraine, how to economically and politically encircle China, and what course the reshaping of the Middle East will take. It is known that US imperialism uses these summits to determine the balance of power through economic, military, and political relations with its alliances. It is clear that these summits will serve to further deepen the contradictions in the process we are currently experiencing. The trend of the process will be to foster even more destructive conditions of competition. This means more attacks against peoples and oppressed nations.
The bill will be paid by the workers, peasants, youth, and oppressed peoples. Blood, tears, and death will increase even more, and exploitation will intensify.
Imperialists are relentlessly pushing the world’s future towards destruction. They are attempting to overcome their crises through warmongering policies and aggression.
Peoples and oppressed nations must intensify their struggle against imperialist war and armament. To achieve this, imperialists are increasing exploitation as well as seizing social, educational, health, pension, and economic rights.
Peoples and oppressed nations must determine their own future and destiny. Revolutionary armament against reactionary armament, anti-imperialist struggle against imperialist aggression and war, and revolutionary struggle must be intensified for independence, sovereignty, and freedom.
Therefore, we call upon all workers, immigrants, youth, women, and democratic mass organizations;
-To stand against imperialist war policies,
-To defend the right of oppressed nations to self-determination,
-To expand the struggle against economic dependency and exploitative relationships,
-To embrace anti-imperialist consciousness,
-To strengthen the struggle by uniting all progressive forces
We call upon all progressive forces, revolutionaries, oppressed peoples, migrants, and anti-imperialist forces to join the action taking place in Geneva on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at 2:00 PM.
Stand Against the Imperialist G7 Summit!
No to NATO!
Long live the revolutionary struggle!
