Turkey: Release of imprisoned Partizans postponed
We publish an unofficial translation of a short note by Yeni Demokrasi:
The release of the imprisoned Partizans Ali Kuş and Erdal İnsel from the Elazığ High Security Prison No. 1 has been postponed.
The prison terms of Ali Kuş and Erdal İnsel, who have been held incarcerated since 2016, expired in February. The release of İnsel and Kuş was postponed by the Elazığ No. 1 High Security Prison Administration and Monitoring Board. Postponement decisions have not yet been handed over to the prisoners.
The release of hundreds of political prisoners has been postponed by the administration and observation boards for the last 3 years.
