Constant harassment to the Irish Republican Prisoners

Recently there are reports on new cases of harassment and repression against Irish Republican Prisoners. On 12th of September it was reported that one of the prisoners, Sean Farrell, was locked down and isolated during three days after making a X-ray scan on him which did not produce the results expected by the repressive forces. The scanning gave an ‘inconclusive’ result. Once more the prison administration only wants to create more conflict by a constant provocation and harassment to the Irish Republican Prisoners.
On 13th of September it was reported that the same prisoner, Sean Farrell, was released and then he could came back to home, but before that he was assaulted again by the riot squad. He was harassed, forced to a strip search and as a result he had injuries in his shoulder and neck. As it is denounced, this is a common practice: even though the prisoners are released, draconian measures to harass them when they are already free are applied to them.
We have reported already on the repressive measures applied to Irish Republican Prisoners and specifically on the Maghaberry prison, lead by the English MI5 where all the Irish Republican Prisoners are subjected to tortures, isolation and inhuman treatment. There, the prisoners constantly struggle and protest to claim for their rights. Recently we reported on the extradition of the prisoner Seán Walsh, on who the repressive forces fabricated a case, and who they wanted to deport to this prison.
