Bandh in India against the latest fake encounter

The spokesperson of the Central Committee of Telangana of CPI (Maoist) made a call for a statewide bandh on December 9. Until now, the police department asked those leaders threatened by the Maoists to abandon the area and nights public transport was suspended at the border between Chhattisgarh and Telangana and others with high Maoist presence.

This bandh takes place due to the new fake encounter in Telangana. Past December 1, seven revolutionaries from the CPI (Maoist) were murdered in cold blood by a police agent, as the Revolutionary Student’s Front (RSF) stated. They were poisoned and brutally tortured after being captured. As the RSF explains, this practices are war crimes, however this has been systematically occurring since the beginning of 2024 and the launch of Operation Kagar.
