CUPLGIA: More than 40 cities mobilized on February 19. Let’s continue the combat until his liberation!

We hereby share an unofficial translation of a report by the Unitary Campaign for the Liberation of Georges Ibrahim Abdallah (CUPLGIA).

The combat continues after the decision of the Court of Appeal of Paris to increase the pressure and to liberate Georges Abdallah on this day so symbolic as it is June 19 – Revolutionary Prisoners Day!

Never, the movement of support and defense of Georges Abdallah was as strong or widened as today! And all of the initiatives taken every day, everywhere and also during these big coordinated highlights is a blatant demonstration of this balance of power – called his wishes by Georges Abdallah himself – which continues to strengthen and harden. And this despite the repression which, by all means, seeks to gap our support for our comrade and more broadly to his struggle for a free Palestine from the sea to the Jordan: a very special thought, also on this day, our comrades of the Palestine collective will defeat, what we strongly denounce, the unjust dissolution – but they are and will remain with us in the struggle. “To attack one of ours is to attack us all!”

Let us continue, therefore, more than ever our mobilization, on all fronts, in the diversity of our expressions. Let’s intensify, amplify, let’s always coordinate this unitary campaign for the release of Georges Abdallah because victory was never so close!

The Unitary Campaign will offer in the upcoming days a new battleplan because on June 19 Georges Abdallah must be definitively released!
