New Israeli attack on Lebanon

Yesterday it was reported that the Israeli criminal forces made a new attack on Lebanon, this time an airstrike which murdered two people and injured two more on the eastern region of Lebanon, according to initial reports from Al-Mayadeen’s correspondent in the Bekaa Valley. The attack was carried out by a drone.

The attack occurred specifically the border area of Janta, targeting the Shaara area in the foothills of the eastern Lebanese mountain range. Al-Mayadeen reported also that Israeli forces also fired flares over the town of Alma al-Shaab.

Even tough a ceasefire was agreed on November 26, 2024, the violations of this agreement by the genocidal State of Israel have been constant.

One example of that was the attack conducted last week, on Wednesday 19 when the Israeli forces conducted another drone strike on the town of Aita al-Shaab, murdering one civilian. They also opened fire on the town of Al-Wazzani, injuring two people.

Also the same Wednesday the Israeli occupation forces fired on a another area and injured one man.

Additionally many operations of gun-firing with machine guns, artillery and tank shelling, and drones flying at low altitudes are reported as a usual way of harassment on the Lebanese people.

According to what was agreed on November, the Israeli occupiers should withdraw from south Lebanon but they remain in five Lebanese locations.
