Yemen resumes blockade of the Red Sea

The Danish media Røde Fane reported that Ansarallah, known as the “Houthies” has now resumed its blockade in the Red Sea after several warnings to the State of Israel.

On March 11, 2025, the Yemeni Armed Forces issued a statement marking a clear and bold declaration of support for Palestine and its struggle against occupation and oppression. The statement signified a resumption of the ban on the passage of Israeli ships in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, and Bab el-Mandeb.

After the continuous blockades of the border crossings, prohibitions of entrance of humanitarian aid to Gaza and crimes by the State of Israel and Yankee imperialism against the Palestinians, Yemen has decided to resume the blockade, in a solidarity action with Palestine and its heroical resistance.
