
The Campaign for Comrade Basavaraj and the People’s War in India Continues

More events have been carried out following international campaign to honor Comrade Basavaraj and the other martyred comrades, and to show support to the People’s War in India.
A powerful event to defend the People’s War in India was carried out in the USP, Brazil. The event was called y the Anti-Imperialist League (AIL) as part of the campaign to defend the People’s War and ongoing armed resistances across the world, and to show the example of Basavaraj to be an example o anti-imperialist struggle. As an homage, a picture of Comrade Basavaraj was placed in the middle of the room, as well as huge banners were hanged up. More pictures of many revolutionary martyrs were displayed as well as from other campaigns:







A commemoration event was carried out in Dusseldorf, Germany, jointly organized by Partizan, Roter Bund (Red League) and Young Struggle. A brief welcome and a minute of silence were followed by a speech and messages. A statement was published:




In Helsinki, Finland, an anti-imperialist barbecue was held and leaflets on Comrade Basavaraj and in solidarity with the People’s War were distributed by Anti-Imperialists Helsinki:
