MEXICO: Call towards the Meeting of Authorities and Topiles

Hereby we publish an unofficial translation of an statement published on SolRojo Mexico.

To the democratic, local, agrarian and traditional authorities.

To the democratic systems of communitarian security, named Topiles, communitarian police or peasant auto defense groups, etc.

Considering that:

1. That we the communities and indigenous peoples live in the vast territory of Anáhuac have faced oppression, displacement, despoliation, and war that was brought on us by the colonizers of yesterday and now.
2. That the oppression that nowadays is expressing itself in three big mountains that lie upon the people: the semi-feudalism (servitude-regime), semi-colonialism (imperialist domination), and bureaucratic capitalism (exploitation).
3. That nothing of it has changed, and will change neither in form of reforms, nor with bourgeois elections; but that is also its consequence – as well as the reactionary war against the people – because they are the expression of the bureaucratic way of the oppressors and exploiters.
4. In this idea, neither the electoral parties, nor the governments in turn, even less the characters who are in the old State’s administration – wether they are women or men – represent anything of an alternative, because they all embody the common interests of the parasite classes in power.
5. That we the communities and the indigenous peoples have defended our community organizational systems, government, justice, education, healthcare and so on, from the top to the bottom, from West to East of the country, with our very own, divers and legitimate mechanisms, creating priceless experiences for the collective future of Anáhuac.
6. That our struggle for land and national liberation, guided by the Revolution of New Democracy, agrarian and anti-imperialist, and with this we will swipe away the latifundium, imperialism and bureaucratic capitalism.

We call:

To the Meeting of the Authorities and Topiles that will take place in a place in Eteco Valley, in the rebel State of Oaxaca, in the upcoming days of 8^th and 9^th of August, 2025.

There we will discuss transcendental topics for resistance of the agrarian and indigenous communities, for the defense of our communitarian systems against the advance of the old State’s corporativization and militarization, that is forcing anti-people’s politics and war against the people masked with “Mexican humanism” and “shared prosperity”.

This first Meeting of Authorities and Topiles is product of the agreements achieved on the two assemblies of the democratic authorities, held in February 2023 and April 2024, and makes part of the way for the organic unification of all our organizational processes and communitarian life.

Our Meeting of Authorities and Topiles is also a contribution to collective struggle of the Anáhuac peoples, regaining their best traditions and experiences, recognizing in them our own comrades in this long struggle for life, water, land and national liberation.
