Georges Ibrahim Abdallah was finally released after 41 years imprisoned by the French State for his struggle for Palestine. He is already in Lebanon, where he was welcomed by hundreds of people which gathered at Beirut Airport to celebrate his arrival. This release is result of decades of struggle, which supposes a great victory for the anti-imperialist cause, the peoples of Middle East and its struggle against imperialism and the State of Israel, as CULPGIA stated in his las statement.

Stop the genocide, break the blockade, end the famine in Gaza!
July 17th marked a significant moment in the history of anti-imperialist struggle in our country: after 41 years of imprisonment, 41 years of heroic resistance, the French State was forced to grant Georges Abdallah his freedom.
This release is, first and foremost, a victory for our comrade Georges Abdallah and his unwavering resistance to never give up, to never back down, to never deny or renounce his values, ultimately winning this battle of wills against the French State over all these years.
This release is also closely tied to the heroic Palestinian resistance, which at every moment, fiercely confronts the ongoing genocidal crimes of the Zionist entity and its attempts at total colonization of Palestine.
But this release is also a result of the mobilization of all these revolutionary, anti-imperialist, and democratic forces that have been growing in numbers, and through thousands of actions, gatherings, and demonstrations over the years, have created a significant show of force that led to this historic victory.

The release of Georges Abdallah is a major political victory that sends us a strong signal: we have reason to revolt and only struggle pays off! This victory is rich in lessons and encourages us more than ever to continue our relentless fight to support the Palestinian people’s struggle and its fighting vanguard.
As Georges Abdallah is about to leave Lannemezan, Gaza is experiencing a genocidal famine organized by the Zionist entity; massacres are daily, and the intrinsic support of imperialist states is total. More than ever, we must make our anger heard and proclaim our unconditional solidarity with the Palestinian cause and the just and legitimate national liberation struggle of its people and the beacons of its resistance for a free Palestine, liberated from the yoke of the colonizer from the sea to the Jordan, for the return of all refugees and the liberation of all prisoners. Through our mobilization, we will once again prolong Georges Abdallah’s lifelong fight.
So let’s be massively present this Saturday, July 26th, at 7pm at République Square, to celebrate Georges Abdallah’s release and gather massively to denounce once again the colonization of Palestine and the resulting genocidal crimes. Let’s gather massively to support the Palestinian people and its heroic resistance, which remains standing, firm, and determined until victory and complete liberation!
