Brazil – Video: Eternal Honor and Glory to Comrade Basavaraj!

We hereby share a video and a statement issued by the several youth and student organizations of Brazil and published by the Revolutionary People’s Student Movement (MEPR).

Here from Brazil, we, of the youth’s and students’ revolutionary organizations, we pay warm tribute to the Comrade Basavaraj and to the 27 warriors murdered in combat against the reactionary forces of Modi’s fascist Brahminic Hidutva regime that serves Yankee imperialism. Comrade Basavaraj, General Secretary of Communist Party of India (Maoist), was a great leader of People’s War in India, who dedicated his life to New Democracy Revolution and to socialism and communism. For over forty years, Comrade Basavaraj served the Communist Party of India (Maoist) and is an inspiration for us, Brazilian youth, to dedicate all our energy, time, minds and action to the New Democracy Revolution in our country serving to Proletarian Worldwide Revolution. Each drop of blood of Comrade Basavaraj and 27 people’s warriors murdered are seeds sent over the fertile soil of Revolution. If the Indian reaction thought that with its bloody Kaagar operation could destroy People’s War in India, we answer with class fury that the proletariat is condemned to the triumph! We know that the death of Comrade Basavaraj and 27 people’s warriors is as heavy as a mountain, but the Communist Party of India (Maoist) has already proven thousand times that there is no final overthrow for the proletariat. Therefore, here from Brazil, we lower our flags as a tribute to the comrades and warriors murdered within the invincible People’s War in India, we sing and march along with the warriors of People’s War in India to honor the memory of Comrade Basavaraj and 27 people’s warriors murdered in combat, reassuring our commitment to follow the shining path of the revolutionary struggle in our country serving the Proletarian Worldwide Revolution.
