The State of Israel has launched a wave of airstrikes on the Gaza Strip, especially on Gaza City and has also started its genocidal ground operation. These crimes have been widely protested all over the world. The Israelis even dared to attack the Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF). The GSF is a coalition of 48 vessels seeking to challenge Israel’s blockade of Gaza, set sail on August 31, 2025, and arrived at Tunisia’s Sidi Bou Said port on September 7. The flotilla is carrying humanitarian aid and supplies, and its organizers say the mission is intended to draw international attention to the ongoing blockade. Attacking these aid Flotillas has been a policy of the State of Israel for many years. The Madleen ship was assaulted by Israel on July 7 in international waters, and the activists were held and later deported. Also this year, the vessel Handala was assaulted on July 27. Boats from the Global Sumud Flotilla have been attacked two times by Israeli drones.
The “Global Sumud Flotilla” set sail on Friday from the shores of Sicily, heading toward the Gaza Strip.
