Actions for the 33rd Anniversary of the Speech by Chairman Gonzalo
On September 24, 33 years have passed since the historic speech by Chairman Gonzalo. Once again, revolutionary activists have carried out actions and published statements to commemorate this significant date. Below is a report on the actions:

Numerous lectures have been organized in Germany this week regarding the current situation and the development of popular struggles in Peru. On Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, the Red League organized lectures in Hamburg and Bremen about the popular struggles in Peru, the current situation of the People’s War, and the historical-ideological significance of the People’s War in Peru.
The lectures highlighted “the historical role played by the Communist Party of Peru and Chairman Gonzalo” and “insisted on rejecting the lies that the party ‘no longer functions’ as a result of Chairman Gonzalo’s imprisonment in 1992, exposing the opportunistic right-wing lines – the true evil – and issued a statement on the current situation of the people’s war.”
The events culminated with Peruvian food and a communal gathering to celebrate the anniversary of Chairman Gonzalo’s speech.
On the 24th, a lecture took place in Dortmund, and another will be held on Sunday the 28th in Cologne. Additionally, a lecture will take place tomorrow in Leipzig.
Anti-Imperialist Action (AAI) and the Portuguese Marxist-Leninist Union (UMLP) carried out a series of actions in northern Portugal in defense of Chairman Gonzalo and the Peruvian Revolution. The actions have been published by the magazine “Servir ao Povo.”
